No pictures, yet, but I had a great day in the shop. Got my top and back joined and my peghead inlaid. Can't wait for the glue to dry. My greatest problem now is showing restraint. Ron |

I'd love to see pics of that inlay too. I plan to watch the Patriots vs the Panthers today, probably while I'm working on my reso. Hey Lance...Go Lions! |

I'll try to get a pic today. I have the inlay done, but I haven't cleaned the glue off yet. That worries me on part of it because it was pre-engraved. Must be careful. I'm going out and scrape it this afternoon and if all goes well I will take a picture. Ron |

Well, I finished the peghead, I hope. The only problem I had here was the lower right edge of the owl set below the surface a little and in evening it up I sanded away part of my etching. But, overall, I like it. Let me know what you think (as if you wouldn't). Ron ![]() ![]() |

Thanks, Mark I wish I could take credit for the pearl and abalone, but I can't. I just inlaid it. Andy DePaul made the owl and the letter for me. I've tried cutting pearl and I'm not very good at it. The owl is white, gold and black MOP and the branch he is standing on is red abalone. The actual inlay is not as clean as it appears in the photo, but I learned a lot and can't wait to do my second one. Ron |
